Noble endeavor indeed, but what makes you think Ubisoft would be willing to sell one of their franchises? They clearly intended to milk it until the very last drop. I do not think they would be willing to part from this (for a reasonable price at least) and Nordic doesn't strike me as a Publisher willing to pay much, more as something that lurks in murky water and waits for an European game studio to go belly up.

Das gleiche was auch Electronic Arts mit seinen Titeln macht 
It would be nice if Ubi sell the Heroes franchise to an other publisher but i think that will never be happend.
But NP. Heroes III, IV and V have a very good Support from modders and we can play it with some different
mods that it feel like a new Game. Yes with old Graphic but new features, factions and more.
And if Ubi want to sell it i think noone want to pay the price. Heroes has a ruined Name thanks Ubi and the Risk
is much to high for this "in German calls Nischenspiel" don't know that translate in English but Google says "niche game" 
Heroes have a good Community but spreadet over the world and many are pissed because the last 2 titels!
Nischenspiel = A game for people who are living in a wood called Dragonwood 
"Niche game" habe ich so zwar noch nicht gehört, aber "niche market" ist ein etablierter term. Wir könnten natürlich auch einfach Pornoterminologie verwenden und Heroes einen Fetisch nennen .
